Great news of 4 new Knabstruppers arriving in the USA

Dear subscriber

Holly Flowers of Alpha Omega Ranch in Idaho has imported two gorgeous few spots

Halifax Middelsom is by Harlequin Middelsom out of Xeleste Middelsom. He is a fantastic few spot stud prospect with perfect conformation, amazing presence and personality, and stunning movement. He is a lovely mover and built to be a sporthorse. And of course he will be a 100% color producer. He is of the modern sporthorse build. He is a KNN registered and branded purebred Knabstrupper. Halifax is grandson of the late great Xanthos, and brings all the best of modern Knabstrupper breeding to the USA.

Paula vom Falkenhorst is by Pegasus out of Mona Lisa. She is a few spot, purebred, German bred and registered Knabstrupper of the baroque type. She is a 2x Apollon granddaughter. She has the sweet & easy Knab personality and smooth movement, and will be a 100% producer of colored foals.

Donna Current of Ohio has also taken up the breeding of Knabs, she has imported Jamaica Skødstrup, a full leopard bay filly by Ecuador Skrødstrup out of Alberta Skrødstrup a daughter of Conetti Lynghoj.

Donna has also purchased CCS Eowyn a full spotted daughter of Apollon out of Navajo Princess, who was awarded a silver premium at her inspection last year.

Holly's two Knabs will round-out Alpha Omega Ranch's current spotted sport horse breeding program that has been built around a program that primarily cross-breeds Akhal-Tekes and Appaloosas for a spotted, elegant athlete for dressage, jumping, eventing and endurance.

Halifax will be submitted for approval to breed when he is of age and he will be put into dressage training. Then he will stand at stud here in Idaho. Paula will be submitted for approval to breed when she is of age and then will be broke to ride and will enjoy a life of being a trail-ridden brood mare. I expect Paula to produce mainly purebred Knabstruppers, whereas Halifax will breed for purebred Knabstruppers as well as with my Akhaloosa Sporthorses, and select Akhal-Teke mares that were approved to breed by the AKA to produce an elegant, Warmblood type Knabstrupper. Both horses' progress can be followed at www.alphaomegaranch.com.

Cedar Creek Stables is also proud to introduce Ikarus Nørremark to the USA. Ikarus is full leopard spot gelding, by Ravaldi KNN 142 Out of Fleur Nørmark OLN 03008. Ikarus is by the same sire as Cita Nørmark. Ikarus is due to travel on down to Florida to Mark Stopford who will introduce him to the Hunter show circuit.

This is exciting news for all Knabstrupper lovers in the USA. These lovely young horses bring to us some new and exciting genetics!

Yours truly,
Melyni
